Session 6: "Lunar and Interplanetary Laser Ranging"

The session "Lunar and Interplanetary Laser Ranging" will address:

  1. Recent lunar laser ranging activities: observations, analysis, advanced modelling and recent results of Earth-Moon dynamics and gravitational physics parameters
  2. Status and ideas for upcoming lunar observations, incl. the use of transponder technology and lunar missions like Chandrayaan-1, Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, LCROSS impactor, GRAIL, LEO
  3. Status and goals of interplanetary laser ranging missions: technological challenges, analysis and (expected) results

The session will include invited and contributed talks as well as interactive posters with short oral introduction.

Deadline for abstract submission (and registration) is September 10, 2008.
